Job Description
Pre Requisites


- MAx years of experience with Oracle /Relational Database technologies, to include familiarity with 10g and 11g features.
- Experience and proven understanding of managing database roles.
- Experience and proven understanding of managing database logins, users, and user profiles.
- Experience and proven understanding of managing database audit events and audit records.
- Experience and proven understanding of managing system and database traces and trace files.
- Experience with database encryption methodologies.
- Understanding of database compression algorithms and implications to security.
- Experience in partitioning, security, SQL performance tuning, database tuning parameters, memory management, statistics gathering, application audit logs, scheduling, administration, maintenance and monitoring.
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with database migrations, for both hardware refreshes and environment upgrades. 
- Experience in senior business systems analysis and/or design.
- Strong proven verbal and written communication skills, including business and technical writing skills. 
- Demonstrated ability to communicate concepts and ideas to technical and non-technical audiences. 
- Demonstrated ability to interface with all organizational levels.
- Experience in preparing Business Requirements Documentation, Test Plan and Test scripts.
- Capacity to develop a clear understanding of the business needs and incorporate these needs into technical solutions.
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills. 
- Ability to work independently and manage sometimes competing priorities. 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL DISTINGUISH CANDIDATES  / Preferred Skills 
- Information security technology experience.
- Hands-on application security assessment and testing.
- Application security planning and security architecture.
- Peer code review.
- Knowledge of impact analysis, and risk analysis as they apply to extremely complex applications.
- Experience in database architecture, data modeling and schema design.
- Knowledge of and experience supporting database firewall and other database security solutions.
- Experience with SQL injection detection and prevention strategies.
- PKI knowledge and experience.
- CISSP or comparable security certification.
- Oracle Database Administrator Certification 10g or 11g.
